Retrospect: IRON CURTAIN TRAIL cycling tour, presentation and talk

The cycling tour started in Jedenspeigen and continued along the so called Iron Curtain Trail visiting the works by Christina Gruber und Ilona Németh. The final destination were the settling ponds near the closed sugar factory in Hohenau an der March.  Alexandra Berlinger, Ursula Maria Probst und Martin Wagner, the curators of the project SUPER NATUR, delivered insight in their concept as well as the artworks. At the end the latest contribution was presented in one of the observation decks along the ponds: Katrin Hornek's installation Postindustrial Creatures . A talk with Martin Rössler from the birds conservation society Augring and the artist presented a lot of information about the history of the ponds and the development of this unique reservoir.
