Information
Stone gatepost – grass lines – sitting stone
Stand – Move – Sit
The path to the school leads from a stone gatepost set near to the driveway, over several-laned lines of grass to the sitting stone in the courtyard. From the stone gatepost to the sitting stone. See how the grass moves. The position of the stone gatepost is intended to highlight the access to the courtyard, functioning as a gate. Lines of grass as growing signs of movement, lines that move. Corresponding to the other side of the courtyard. Sitting stone – curved top. Raised above the collective movement of the lines and curved at the top to correspond with the surrounding countryside.
