For the competition to design a project for the area in front of the newly built training facility of the road maintenance agency in Krems, Sofia Hultén suggested several sculptures that consisted of the same three elements – an excavator, asphalt, and a boulder – in different combinations. However, the road maintenance agency decided to expand the building and remodel the landscaping instead, and the design could not be realized.
