Stefan Strauß
Born 1957 in Wasserburg am Inn, Germany. He studied philosophy in Berlin and Munich and art in Linz and Amsterdam. He has been living and working as an artist and curator in Amsterdam since 1984. His work focuses on public art, with a special emphasis on architecture. He has realized many projects in Austria and abroad, including designs for the bridges in Hoom (2010) and Olst-Wijhe (2009) in the Netherlands. He also created a billboard project called Jazz in Wien (2009) together with his brother Martin Strauß.
