Jitish Kallat
Born 1974 in Mumbai, India, where he still lives and works. He is one of India’s most important contemporary artists. His multi-media works comprise paintings, photographs, sculptures, and installations. Selected solo and group exhibitions include Stations of a Pause at the Chemould Gallery in Mumbai (2011), Public Notice 3 at the Art Institute of Chicago (2010), The Astronomy of Subway at Haunch of Venison in London (2010), and The Hour Of The Day Of The Month Of The Season at the Galerie Daniel Templon in Paris (2013).
