Anna Meyer
Born 1964 in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. She lives and works in Vienna. In 1983, she attended the Schule für Gestaltung (School of Design) in Zurich, after which she studied the Schule für Gestaltung (School of Design) in Lucerne in 1984. In 2007 and 2008, she was a professor of painting at the Sommerakademie (Summer Academy) in Salzburg. She has also taught painting at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Art. Her numerous works in the public sphere include works in the form of billboards that were realized for the Kulturhauptstadt Linz (2009), KÖR in Vienna (2010–2015), and Chamber of Labor in Vienna (2012–2013). She has had many solo and group exhibitions, including at the Kunstverein Salzburg (2011), the Sammlung Essl (2015, 2014), and the Galerie für zeitgenössische Kunst in Leipzig (2007).
