Information
The objects for the forecourt of the newly built kindergarten are conceived as symbols for play and movement. The ball and wheel demonstrate a readiness to roll out onto the road – a call to passing drivers to slow down.
The objects are intended as a design for the entrance and forecourt area of the newly erected kindergarten. An asymmetrical protruding roof construction sets a distinctly contrasting tone to the symmetrical facade; an interplay of ramps and stairs also serves the same purpose. Ball and wheel – as symbols for playing – sit on the ramps and suggest a readiness to roll across the street. This ‘potential for movement’ is a signal and a call to reduce speed.
