Information
The archaic composition of the two metre tall marble sculpture in the Stadtpark in Mistelbach alludes to classical forms. The piece has been conceived as a "wandering stone" with temporary locations.
An oversize marble sculpture was set up in the Stadtpark in Mistelbach. It was a stele made of stone, which makes reference to classical forms in its archaic construction. The work was executed during a symposium in Carinthia in 1988. The marble stele is a ‘wandering stone’ and has made stopovers (at the Secession, Stadtpark baroque palace). According to the latest reports, discussions between the council and the artist about providing a suitable pedestal for this work of art have not yet been resolved to the satisfaction of all concerned.
