Benjamin Hirte
Born 1980 in Aschaffenburg, Germany. He lives in Vienna. His artistic practice encompasses sculpture and text, and he also organizes exhibitions. He was a MAK- Center artist-in-resident in Los Angeles, and he has also published an artist’s book together with Mousse Publishing. He recently received an award from the Ponto Foundation that included an exhibition at the Museum für moderne Kunst in Frankfurt (MMK3). He has had many solo and group exhibitions at venues including the Museo Canonica in Rome (2017), the Leopold Museum in Vienna (2016), the MAK in Vienna (2012), and the Grazer Kunstverein (2010).
