Maruša Sagadin
Born 1978 in Ljubljana (SLO), lives in Vienna. She studied at the Graz University of Technology and the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. In her artistic practice she explores the interplay between gender, language and sculpture in contemporary architecture. Her installations and objects consciously function both indoors and outdoors, refer to elements of pop and subculture, work with humour and exaggeration, and are often extended to include a performative act to invite the viewers to actively participate in the art.
