Jakob Lena Knebl
Born 1970 in Baden, lives in Vienna. She studied fashion design with Raf Simons at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and Textual Sculpture with Heimo Zobernig at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna; senior artist at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. With her name and her works, the artist undermines clear attributions. Boundaries between media, genres, aesthetics, gender identities, materialities and disciplines are continuously dissolved.
